Mommy Bloggers Guide Contact InformationMy name is Wendy and I am the editor of the Mommy Bloggers Guide. I have been online since 1993. I like to say that Al Gore and I invented the Internet. He likes to take most of the credit but I was right alongside of him.

I can remember how difficult it was just logging on and just staying logged on with my 300 baud modem. And l remember the day I upgraded and got my 14,400k modem. I was ecstatic!

From the time I hit the Web I knew it was the place I wanted to be. Back then no one I knew had email or knew anything about the Internet. It was boring, gray backgrounds with black text in Times New Roman font and NO pictures, sounds or videos. Somehow I found people online and began to form relationships.

Basic Contact Information:

Email: mommybloggersguide@gmail.com

PR and Marketing:

I love sharing my knowledge with anyone who needs it. If you have an upcoming conference and are looking for a panelist or guest speaker I would be happy to talk with you about how we can work together.

Guest Posting:

I am always looking for writers who want to guest post on this site. What you write must be about the core subject, that is, blogging. I am glad to give you links back to your site within the post. Make sure these topics have not been covered on this site indepth. If they have please make sure your wording is completely different or adds some value to what has already been taught.

Here are some ideas for guest posting:
  • step-by-step instructions for doing something on your Blogger blog
  • step-by-step instructions for doing something on your WordPress blog
  • List of WordPress add-ons and plug-ins you like
  • SEO tricks
  • How to get traffic to your blog
  • Using social media effectively
More about Wendy

I have raised a family of 3 boys, am a Grandma, am married and have been for 30 years, have held many jobs, am techno saavy, love a bargain, and especially love to learn.

I have been a quilting instructor, software instructor, and computer consultant. I have built computers, setup networks, designed websites, and ran two businesses. Now I blog!

About a year ago (2008) I didn't know what a blog was and within one year I have been able to double my income, stay a home and work for myself, start a savings account, pay down bills, and even buy health insurance. I am now supporting my husband and myself with this thing called blogging. And, there seems to be no end in site as the Web changes all of the time and the possibilities are limitless.

I am always looking for the open opportunity and when I see it I take it. I find that too many times people hate what they do but never do anything to change their situation. Do you remember when you were growing up and you said I want to be this or I want to be that when I grow up? Does anyone really think they thought they would be sitting in a cubicle, standing on their feet all day, or working at jobs they hate? It's time to get back to what you love doing, whatever that is.

I had no clue I was a writer because I don't have the writing style I think of when I read a novel or read about a famous writer. But, I found that I am able to write exactly the way I talk and make things that seem difficult quite easy and understandable. I like to take all of the voices and put them into a simple style anyone can understand.

My style of writing is "breezy" as someone once called it and factual. I don't often put too much emotion in my writing - just the facts ma'am - but from time to time you will definitely get my opinion.

I enjoy teaching others. Over the years I found that to be my gift. I am not a genius or a scholar but what I do know, what I learn, I pass along to someone else. It is what I have to give in life and I share it freely. You are always welcome to email me your questions and if I know the answer I will give you a straight answer. If I do not know the answer I will find it. Many times we will learn together. Because I maintain so many sites I am not able to answer every email I get. Please do not be offended as I try to answer what I can either personally or through this site in articles.

To sum it up, as my mother use to say, "Jack of all trades, master of none."

When you say to copy your policy/ disclosure. DO you mean all the info from the top to the bottom of the page? I'm alittle confused on it.
