Free Social Media Buttons For Your Blog
Here is a collection of free social media buttons for Facebook, Twitter, and more that you are free to save and use on your own blog or website. Nowadays you need to promote every social media account you are using and putting one of these free buttons on your site is a great way to do it. I even have some generic buttons you could use on your blog for email and RSS feeds.

How to save a button to use on your blog:
- Hover over the button with your mouse and right-click on it.
- A menu will appear and then you can left-click Save As.
- Save the image to your hard drive (somewhere you will find it again).
Picture Gadget/Widget:
- An easy way to upload it to your blog is to use the Picture gadget and just link the picture to your Facebook, Twitter or other social networking account.
- If you would like to create a special layout on your blog you will need to host the picture somewhere. You can create a free account at Flickr.com or Photobucket.com and upload the button image there.
- To add the button to your blog add an HTML/JavaScript gadget and then copy this HTML layout and change the http://www.url.com to the exact URL where your buttom image is stored.

Free Blog Headers and Installation Instructions
Here are some free header images and graphics you might want to use on your blog.
Free Blog Header Images
If you want to change the header on your Blogger or WordPress blog but you don't know how to use Photoshop or some similar program to create a custom header, you can just download a free header graphic online and then upload it to your blog. If you have a website you can also use them.
How to Upload a Free Header Image to your blog:
Blogger: To upload a header image in Blogger just go to the Layout tab and look for the Header graphic widget.
WordPress: To upload a header image in WordPress click on Appearance and then Custom Header.
These free header images came from the Free Webpage Headers Gallery. Please visit their website to view their complete collection. There are many graphics to choose from so you will have to click on each category to view them.
Note: You can also upload an image from your computer that you might already have as a header. A header is basically just a background image so try using a photograph or some other graphic and let Blogger or WordPress resize it to fit. You can change the header many times until you find what looks the best so give it a try.

- Click Edit next to the Header gadget.
- Click next to Behind Title and Description and make sure the box next to Shrink to Fit is checked.
- Click the Browse button to find the file you saved.
- Click on the file and click Open. Wait while the file is uploaded.
- Click Save.
- Then Preview the look on your blog by clicking the Preview button. If you don't like it then pick another and do the process until you find one that looks right.


How to Upload a Header in WordPress:
- From the Dashboard click on the Appearance.
- Click on Custom Header.
- Click Browse.
- Find the image stored on your computer. Click on it and then click Open.
- Click Upload.
- Now you will be given the opportunity to crop the image. You can drag the indicator boxes up or down and move the highlighted box up or down.
- When you have it the way you want it to look click Crop Header.
- Click Visit Site at the top to view the results.
- You can go back to Custom Header if you want to change the font color.
