15 Free Fonts from ScrapNFontsUsing special fonts in headers and graphics is another way to make your blog unique. You should stick to basic fonts like Arial, Times New Roman, Verdana, Comic Sans, or Georgia in the actual font type that is used for the reading portion of your blog but when you are making up a customized graphic or header in PhotoShop or some other graphic program you can use whatever font you want because it will be embedded into the graphic.

The reason you want to stick with standard fonts on your blog for reading purposes is because many people will not have those odd-ball fonts you have installed on your computer. The fonts I mentioned above are standard to every computer. When a computer doesn't have a special font it substitutes it for one of those standard fonts.

Here is an example of some of the free fonts from ScrapNFonts. These fonts are free for a limited time so take advantage of them while they are free.

ScrapNFonts also sells fonts and they are very reasonable. You can buy fonts for an average of $1.00 each. Some are higher at $3.00. They have a very good selection too.

Sign up for their email newsletter and you will receive 3 free fonts.
